Some Notes on Parallelism

Common Mistakes

No. Two elements can be parallel ONLY if they are playing the SAME ROLE in a sentence. 

If one is a verb, the other parallel element has to be a verb.

If one is a modifier, the other parallel element has to be a modifier for the same entity that the first modifies.

If one is a subject, the other parallel element has to be a subject.
